Let Glasgow flourish as a music city
Glasgow is a world-renowned UNESCO City of Music. This website explores the city’s rich musical heritage, and investigates current challenges and opportunities facing Glasgow and other music cities.
It is a forum for new ideas, research, and debates about working in music, as well as the relationship between cities and their music more broadly.
It is created and maintained by students and staff at the University of Glasgow, primarily the MSc Music Industries degree and the Interdisciplinary Music Industries Research Group (aka IMIRGE).
